CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is a concept assuming that in the corporate strategy developing process the company takes into account social interests and environmental protection. This new attitude has shaped along with the phenomenon of globalisation and increasing competitiveness among companies. In order to stand out among competition and to increase their own attractiveness, international organisations started to invest in ethics, taking care of their relations with all stakeholders, including employees, as well as local and global environment. CSR is a strategy allowing for a political, social and ecological change, affecting social and economic development. The CSR concept is also seen as a philosophy based on: trust, interrelations and communication.
