The fact Tomek Abelec is a heartbreaker has been known for long. Many of my female customers (I won’t be giving names cause they’re all married) always fondly tell about how they’d love to surrender to him (of course, with regard to preparing posters, pictures or magazines for print). The Norwegian girls also weren’t indifferent to his charm. We spent the Saturday evening at a classic music concert. Beautiful Sylvia Moi (Norwegian opera star) was singing “Je veux vivre” from the opera “Romeo and Juliet” by Charles Gounod and all of a sudden she reached out her hand towards Tomek (we were all sitting in the first row) and invited him to come onto stage. Then it got even more romantic – the lovely singer, kneeling in front of Tomek, sang the waltz of lovestruck Juliet looking deep into his eyes… and then kissed him and handed him a rose.
…one’d like to say night, but technically speaking, it was still a day. It was a surprise to us not only that the weather in Sandefjord was very sunny and warm, but also that at 11 p.m. it was still a bright day, somewhere near midnight the sun was barely starting to set, and at 3 a.m. it was high again. That was amazing but really cool – you didn’t need to worry about coming back late from the party in the dark.
…That’s not really my thing, but I’m not criticizing. Adult, well-educated people, widely-read and surely having many interesting things to say, but instead of conversing they preferred to stare at their smartphones making silly faces. This visit was marked by snapchat. Barbecue in beautiful circumstances, Ula, Robert and Carla Espinoza-Saenz were standing only two steps apart from one another and they were communicating via the Space.
…some say life begins at forty. Ewelina Jamka took these words literally and couldn’t resist the urge to have a go on a Norwegian slide. What’s more, she passed her “inner child” on Ula and they were screaming going down the slide together. Marcin Rutkowski was nervously looking around, fearing that Norwegian police officers could not like the view of grown-up girls rollicking in a playground and give them a fine – which in Norway could be quite heavy.
… talking about Norwegian police officers, both Ewelina and myself were dreaming about meeting Harry Hole (the character from Jo Nesbo’s crime novels). The police station was the very first place we went to see in Sandefjord. Later on, we even managed to find a “body” (which turned out to be Ula taking a nap after workshops), but unfortunately did not see any Norwegian psycho killer that Nesbo wrote about 🙁
